Practical Philosophy

The original meaning of `Philosophy` is `love for wisdom`, it is the curiosity and enthusiasm to learn about life in an active way.

Throughout history, the great and classical philosophers formulated their world view based on their life experience.
This is why their theories are so interesting and important, they are a result of a continuously practice, observations and insights.

A study of theories without practice can lead to an intellectual and boring life, while a practice without study of theories can lead to a superficial life without a growing depth.

The integration between theories and practice is what we called:  `Practical philosophy`. It is to learn how to uplift our life experience, how to improve them and expand our perspective.

In New Acropolis, we learn about classical philosophers, cultures and civilizations, and emphasize important principles that can be relevant and implemented in our modern time.

After all, through all times, human being is a human being. Even if we improved much our technologies, the essence of our being remains the same.

There are common elements that inspired man, gave him hope and joy back than in the past and also today. There are also elements that worried man or made him suffer, that are still relevant today.

We want to learn these elements, in order to inspire and enrich our life, and also in order to face with different situations that the modern life presents to us.
